Yusmeiro Petit is excelling in whatever role he’s asked to fill for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Petit pitched six solid innings and the Arizona Diamondbacks padded their NL West lead Saturday night, getting home runs from Chris Young and Miguel Montero in a 7-1 victory over the Florida Marlins. Petit (3-3) allowed two hits and struck out six against his former team.
